Grover Is God

This has made my day. Arabis and I have been watching classic Sesame Street on You Tube. She is feeling under the weather and refusing to sleep. So here we are. Because of the Sesame Street: I am in heaven.

Sad? Bluesy? Life got you down? Grover can make it all better.

Remember this one? Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep!

I'm going to watch more for as long as Arabis fights sleep.

Elmo's got nothin' on Grover.

Does she have There's a Monster at the End of this Book? Love that!

Hi, Jill!

No we don't have that book. I'll have to take a look for it. I've been trying to stay away from Disney and other licensed stuff, but hell...Grover is different! And I caved in and bought her a little stuffed Elmo when she saw him and started calling "Emmo, Emmo!!!" excitedly.

Elaine: Grover is a misunderstood genius. I adore him so much more than Elmo, and Arabis is beginning to as well. Frank Oz is awesome!

Grover was, and is, a small exasperated, misunderstood soul, a bluesy (you said it not me), little skinny-armed wonder whose memory I am so happy you have just revived in me.
